Get to Know More About the CFAC
The Children & Family Advocacy Center in Little Flock, Arkansas is fortunate to be in a community where people care about helping others, and there’s a strong spirit of support for organizations that bring positive change.
We’re especially grateful for the working relationships we have with many other local organizations and agencies.
Together, we’re not just helping people heal; we’re building a stronger, more supportive community where everyone can find the care and opportunities they need to move forward. We’re proud to be part of a place where people care for one another and help those in need.
Our community shows what can happen when we all join forces, work together, and care about the well-being of others.
We all serve children in a different capacity! We couldn’t do what we do without the collaboration with other non-profits. CASA provides advocates for children in the court system and the Children’s Shelter provides housing for children only.
At the CFAC, on our acute side, we provide immediate services to children with allegations of child maltreatment. On our residential side, we provide housing for women and their children.
We are not a government agency. We are an independent non-profit that is part of the national networks of Children’s Advocacy Centers across the country! We are one of the few in the country that have a residential program added to it!
We are a non-profit 501c3 organization that is funded through foundations, state and federal grants, and private donations. If you feel led to give and support our mission, click the donate button at the top of this page or visit Get Involved to learn more.
If you suspect child abuse, please call the Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline 1-844-SAVE-A-CHILD (1-800-482-5964) and dual report to local law enforcement.
Yes! We are always in need of donations to meet the ongoing needs of our clients. Check out our wishlist for our current needs. Please note that we do not accept used items. All items must be new.
We have a residential program that provides long-term housing for women and their children: there are three phases to the program to help residents reach independence and self-sufficiency.
Our long-term housing program is not meant for emergency or short-term housing. We accept residents who meet our program criteria and are willing to work towards independence and self-sufficiency.
No, however we are grateful for our investigative partners like the Division of Children and Family Services who have a hard job in protecting the children in our community. We work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to help provide services for their cases.
A hotline report must be made for children to receive acute services after allegations of child maltreatment. They are referred by their assigned investigative agency for services.
Call the Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline to make a report 1-844-SAVE-A-CHILD (1-800-482-5964) and dual report to local law enforcement.
All our services are provided at no cost to the family. A typical acute client receiving full services costs our program about $2,580 while a residential client costs our program about $55 per day. If you feel led to sponsor a family or program, please reach out about our Program Sponsorship opportunities.
