One Team. One Mission. One Voice

Join the Children & Family Advocacy Center each April in recognition of Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month.

Two Rallies Representing One Mission

The month begins as we will hold the annual Cherishing Children Rallies to share about the work our organization does, the commitment our community makes to helping those experiencing trauma and taking time to honor those lives lost to abuse and neglect. The CFAC is proud to represent both its Main and Satellite locations with two separate rallies at the beginning of April.

Planting Hope

The Children & Family Advocacy Center’s (CFAC) Pinwheel Campaign is a tribute held throughout the month of April. Our campaign revolves around the national symbol of the pinwheel, embodying the spirit of playfulness, joy, and childhood. In the face of abuse, these innocent lives are robbed of the opportunity for a carefree childhood.

WeAR Blue Day

Friday April 3rd, 2026

WeAR Blue Day is an important event that raises awareness about child abuse prevention. Held annually on the first Friday of April, this day encourages individuals and communities to wear blue to show solidarity and support for the victims of child abuse. The day aims to highlight the critical need for child protection, education, and resources to prevent abuse and neglect. It also serves as a reminder to everyone to take action and report any suspected abuse, promoting a safer and healthier environment for children across the state.
