Staff Dedicated to Impacting the Lives of Others
At the Children & Family Advocacy Center our staff brings expertise and a dedicated passion to those we serve. The leadership team boasts a varied background across disciplines from advocacy and interviewing, to business and finance. Together each leader guides a dedicated team of staff members to help our clients build resilient lives.
The leadership team works closely with our Board of Directors to make strategic decisions that impact our organization and those we serve as we follow our core value of growth. Each director humbly serves in their role to put the needs of the client – and therefore the organization – first: this can often take grit, another core value at the CFAC. As one team they strive to achieve excellence, creating a safe space for staff to serve.

The Children & Family Advocacy Center welcomed Xaya, a Black Phantom Labradoodle, in September of 2024. Xaya offers emotional support and therapeutic care to clients, including children and families impacted by trauma. She assists both the child maltreatment response team and the residential program for women and children.
Dogs have been known to provide a sense safety and security for children as well as decrease anxiety and lower heart rate. Unlike assistance dogs for individual users, facility dogs work with a handler to serve a broader community.
Introducing Xaya to our programming only furthers our commitment to comprehensive, trauma-informed care for our clients.
In her first six months, Xaya worked with over 100 clients and attended nearly 20 community events as part of our comprehensive approach to healing and building resilience.
